What is Shopify?
Shopify is a all-in-one commerce platform to start, run, and grow a business.
Businesses of all sizes use the platform, whether they’re selling online, in retail stores, or on the go.
The difference between having your own Shopify store and having a store in a platform like Ebay, Poshmark and Mercari, is that a Shopify store is yours and you are in control, you decide your own rules and policies, instead of following the other platforms rules, or get suspended when you don’t.

When a friend asked me about a Poshmark Shopify connection, I wasn’t sure how to answer first, I had to think about my reselling business, and how the 2 connect in it.
The only connection I could find between the two platforms, is what resellers call Cross-Listing, which is listing the same item in more than one platform.
It’s true that in my Shopify store I’m “The Boss”, I decide my own rules, but I also have to find customers by myself and drive traffic to my website.
Using other platforms like Poshmark, I kind of give up my “Boss” status and follow their rules, but I benefit from tons of traffic that they drive daily to my store, and that’s very important, because Traffic = Sales = Money.
If you are a beginner reading this, don’t spend too much time comparing pros and cons of each platform, and use all of them by cross-listing. Just make sure that you delete every item you sell in a platform from the others.

The best and fast way to do it is to download your Poshmark’s inventory in a CSV file and import it to your new Shopify store.
This is not the solution you were probably looking for, because you will have to download your photos and go through your listings one by one to make sure all your information is presented the way you want in your new shopify store, but it will save you a lot of time by populating your new store with your Poshmark listings.
1- First download your “My Inventory Report” from Poshmark by following these steps:
To download your My Inventory Report in the app
-Go to your Account Tab
-Select My Seller Tools
-Select My Inventory Report
-Select Email Report
To download your My Inventory Report on the web
-Select your profile picture to the top right of the page
-Select Order Activity
-Select My Inventory Report from the menu on the left
-Select Email Report
You will receive a link to the email connected to your Poshmark account to download a CSV file.
You will need to be logged onto your Poshmark account from the same device that you access the link sent to your email.
Make sure to open the attachment with a program that supports CSV files.
Your Inventory Report will only provide information on listings that are currently available in your closet.
2- Import your Inventory to your Shopify store by following these steps:
-Go to Products > Inventory.
-Click Import.
-Choose your CSV file.(The CVS file you downloaded from Poshmark).
-Click Import inventory.
-Verify what you intend to import, and then click Start import.
Please visit Shopify help page on Exporting or importing inventory with a CSV file to make sure you import the file in its correct format.
One more thing, don’t delete your Poshmark closet after you create your Shopify store to keep making sales while waiting for your new store to become more popular and get more visits from potential customers.
