To add site to Google Search Console, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Google search console account.
- Click on the property selector drop-down located at the top left corner of any page in your Google search console account.
- Click on add property.
- Add the URL of your web site. If your site supports more than 1 protocol (ex: http and https), you will need to add a separate property for each protocol.
- Choose one site verification method to verify ownership of your website. You can verify ownership of a site by:
- Uploading a special HTML file to your site.
- Adding a <meta> tag to the HTML of a specified page.
- Adding a DNS record in your domain name provider.
- Using the Google Analytics tracking code associated with your web site.
- Using your Google Tag Manager container snippet code If you have a Google Tag Manager account.
- Blogs that you create in Blogger should be added and verified automatically in your Search Console account.
- Click Verify.
